The Debbie Chavez Talk Show is operated by the non-profit organization called "Great Awakening Productions". Our mission is to fill the spiritual void in talk radio and to provide millions of people with biblical wisdom that can offer them great hope in their current life challenges.
The Debbie Chavez internet talk show was launched in April of 2008, and with no geographical boundaries, it has listeners in all 50 states and over 90 different countries. Debbie also co-hosts a weekly TV show on TBN called "Love, Marriage and Stinking Thinking".
Debbie has 27 years of experience in secular talkradio, serving as Morning News Anchor, Program Director and Talk Show Host. During her 12 years as a morning talk show host at KGMI in Bellingham, WA, her program was consistently #1 in northwest Washington. As KGMI Program Director for over 15 years, Debbie led KGMI to receive the prestigious national Marconi Award from the National Association of Broadcasters for "Best Small Market Radio Station in America" in 2006
Debbie serves as a volunteer Chaplain at the Whatcom County Jail and leads weekly bible studies in her home. She has also taught Sunday school for young children for over 12 years and served on the board of Evergreen Christian School in Bellingham for 2 years.

Debbie and her husband Raul have 5 children and 5 grandchildren who delight their hearts. In her spare time, Debbie loves to cook and bake, entertain guests at their home, work with flowers in the garden, read, and travel.
